The first morning of my 10-day séjour in Paris was spent watching “Il était une fois…la vie“ (Once Upon a Time…Life) with a curious nearly-4-year-old boy and his sick mom (who is entrusting me with her offspring while she’s away for a few days starting tomorrow – hilarity will ensue). The show is from the mid-1980’s…and French which equals awesome! The Magic School Bus has nothing on this show. If you have 30 seconds, watch the opening sequence cos it’s awesome (click here). Did I mention it’s awesome? It is. So is the curious-nearly-4-year old. During breakfast Arthur the Skeleton was deconstructed alongside our cereal bowls. We had a full explanation of how food goes from our mouths, to our stomach, through our intestines and finally out our…well, you know how it works.
